Training profile
A busy, engaging job involving operating and adjusting machines, changing formats, knowledge of materials, (packaging), productivity calculations, fault diagnostics, basic maintenance, quality control, compliance with health and safety directives, improving installations, filing reports.

Training
The apprenticeship lasts 3 years, with 1 day of classes at the Fribourg or Bulle vocational school.
Subjects taught: general studies, packaging materials, processing and packaging machines, quality assurance, health and safety, performance, machine technical characteristics, automation and electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum engineering, general industrial studies.

Requirements
Compulsory schooling completed, good results in mathematics and sciences. Interest in technical issues and processing and packaging of goods. Manual skills, logical, analytical. Willingness to work in team shifts.
